Gagnon, and Melissa Duffy) is based on her own coming-of-age journey. Cecil tells you how she fell in love with the art of telling stories and how, well, everything has affected her as a writer. I know Cecil a little but I feel I know her way more than I actually do because this book is so warm and honest.
I feel reading this alone in your quarantine will feel like hanging out with a cool new friend who is into a lot of the same stuff you are. I also think this book will get you off your ass to make something.
