As the current run of Batgirl comes to its conclusion with an oversized Issue #50, Barbara Gordon finally calls out Batman on his biggest flaw and asks why he doesn’t just donate his money to fight crime.

The current run of Batgirl is written by Cecil Castellucci with art by Emanuela Lupacchino, Marguerite Sauvage, and Aneke. Throughout recent issues, Barbara has taken greater notice of Gotham’s systemic problems, recognizing she can serve the city beyond her role as Batgirl. Instead, she also has to do what she can to make a difference as a civilian. She focuses on the city's failure of providing mental healthcare, an issue that led her brother to villainy.
