Award-winning YA novelist and Eisner-nominated comic book writer Cecil Castellucci is opening up about her deep love of Star Wars and how it inspired her creative trajectory in her upcoming graphic memoir from Archaia, Girl On Film. Illustrated by Vicky Leta, Melissa Duffy, V. Gagnon, and Jon Berg, Girl On Film examines Castellucci’s journey through various points of her life, including her days as an aspiring theater kid, her time as a teenage artiste running wild in New York in the 1980s, her time as an indie musician on the Montreal punk scene, and finally her work in prose novels and comics.
